Saving and Later Opening Your Outline
After you create your outline, make editorial changes, and then check its accuracy and spelling, you save the outline and the presentation of which it is a part. To do this, click the File menu and click Save. PowerPoint opens the Save As dialog box.
To save your presentation, click the Save In drop-down list box to choose a folder location for the presentation. Then use the File Name box to give your presentation a name. After identifying the appropriate folder location and naming the presentation, click Save. PowerPoint saves your presentation in the specified location using the name you provided.
To later open your outline, click the File menu and click Open to display the Open dialog box. Use the Look In drop-down list box to identify the folder location of the presentation. Then double-click the presentation in the list beneath the Look In drop-down list box.
