By default, PowerPoint inserts text as you type. You can, however, overwrite text. To do this, press the Insert key. The Insert key is a toggle switch. By pressing the Insert key, you toggle between the text insertion mode and the text overtype mode.

After you’ve finished filling in the boxes and clicking the check boxes in the last AutoContent Wizard dialog box, click Next and then click Finish. After you click Finish, the AutoContent Wizard creates a rough outline of your presentation and opens the presentation using its Normal view.
